MEETING MINUTES
NOVEMBER 6, 2007
STARBARD BUILDING
Members Present: Roy Fraser III, Mark Sutphen, Clare Williams, Marilynn Foley
The meeting was called to order at 7:10.
On a motion by Roy 2nd by Mark, the minutes of October 2, 2007 were voted unanimously.
The finances are in good shape.
The committee discussed the care of the rose bushes for the winter. Mark will check to see if they need to be covered.
There has been some vandalism of the railing at the Bandstand. Roy and Mark will fix the spokes that have been kicked out.
Mark applied for the Arts Grant. Hopefully we will receive some funds from that Grant.
Roy is searching original donations for the Bandstand trees and bushes so we can put a name plaque inside the Bandstand.
Clare has sent out thank you notes to all our 2007 sponsors.
Roy fixed the Menorah and secured it on plywood covered with a rug.
Roy will fix the sign on the lawn near the street.
The schedule for the 2008 summer concerts is almost set. We are waiting for 1 call back.
The Light-A-Light flyers will be included in the November light bills. Marilynn will send flyers to those persons from out of state who have sent donations in the past.
Clare and Marilynn will set up the Bandstand sign for Light-A-Light.
The Committee will decorate the Bandstand on November 24 and we will light the lights and the Menorah on December 2.
